Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install Python on my computers?
Not necessarily. Depending on the need, the script can run on a server, be delivered as a small ready-to-run application, or be set up by me on a dedicated machine.
Python or Excel: which should I choose?
Excel is ideal when users want to see and edit the data themselves. Python is better for large volumes, automatic tasks and exchanges between software. I'll advise you case by case, and the two combine very well.
Does my data stay with me?
Yes. Scripts can run entirely on your own infrastructure. I treat all of your company's information as confidential, as set out in my terms.
Can you take over an existing script?
Yes. I can analyse, fix and document a script written by someone else, then develop it further.
